La Marzocco GB5/FB80 Hot Water Switch Adapter Wiring
This wiring adapter lets you connect the classic white L286/1 switch to newer La Marzocco GB5 and FB80 machines (serial #843 and up). La Marzocco discontinued the original E.1.008 switch used in these later units due to performance issues, making this adapter the recommended upgrade path.
COMPATIBILITY
- Fits: La Marzocco GB5/FB80, serial #843 and later
- Works with: Adapts to the classic white L286/1 switch (MZ_49)
INSTALLATION
Electrical wiring job, we recommend a qualified technician handle the switch swap and adapter wiring to avoid crossed connections.

- If your GB5/FB80's hot water switch has become unreliable or intermittent, this adapter plus the L286/1 switch (MZ_49) is the fix La Marzocco itself recommends, don't waste time hunting for the obsolete original switch.
