Nikah (Islamic Marriage) Services at Al Falah Center

Al Falah Center is honored to host Nikah ceremonies for couples seeking a meaningful, legally-recognized Islamic marriage. Whether at our mosque or your chosen venue, our experienced Imam will guide you through a spiritually fulfilling and smooth process.
What We Offer
- Venue: Our musalla is available for simple, small-scale ceremonies. For larger events, full facility rental is required.
- Qualified Officiant: Our Imam is certified to conduct both the Islamic Nikah and legal marriage requirements.
- Personalized Coordination: We work with each couple to ensure everything is organized, respectful, and runs smoothly.
Islamic Requirements
As per Islamic tradition, the following must be observed:

- Mutual Consent (Ijab & Qubool) from both bride and groom
- Mahr (Dowry) agreed upon and offered to the bride
- Guardian (Wali) present for the bride
- Two Muslim Male Witnesses, adults known to the couple
New Jersey State Requirements
To be legally married in the State of New Jersey:
- You must be at least 18 years old
- Apply for a Civil Marriage License at your local registrar’s office
- Must apply at least 72 hours before the ceremony
- Bring valid ID, proof of residency, and one witness
- License must be used within 30 days
- The original marriage license must be submitted to Al Falah Center before the Nikah date
- The Imam will complete and file the license with the State following the ceremony
Administrative Details & Fees
The standard Nikah service includes:
- Ceremony for up to 10 total attendees (bride, groom, wali, witnesses, etc.)
- Use of Musalla for the ceremony only (limited setup)
- Imam officiation and certificate
Cost:
The standard Nikah service includes:
- Imam’s Fee: $500
- Facility Use Fee: $250
Total: $750
Please note: This basic Nikah service does not include rental of the musalla for extended time, events, or larger guest lists. If you are planning a larger gathering or celebration, a separate facility rental agreement must be arranged in advance.
